Indo-German green hydrogen cooperation – Indian Delegation in Chemnitz

As result of a delegation visit from the hydrogen association HZwo e.V. in Pune in February 2026, a delegation from the Pune Hydrogen Valley visited Chemnitz from 25 until 30 April 2026.   The delegation was introduced to the Department of Advance Powertrains at the Technical University Chemnitz and to members from the HZwo association. Further internal talks were conducted related to a long-term partnership between the Pune Hydrogen Valley and HZwo e.V. A second Indo-German green hydrogen summit took place in the headquarter of Hzwo e.V. on 28 April 2026 with around 30 participating companies from Saxony and other German regions. Markus Hoffmann von Wolffersdorff gave a presentation about best practise in Indo-German business. At the end of summit, Prof. von Unwerth as president of HZwo e.V. and Dr. Budama, director of Pune Hydrogen Valley, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The summit ended with a delicious dinner at the Saxon castle Lichtenwalde. The delegation visit from Pune has fostered the Indo-German relations which had been developed, and further activities are already planned and desired.
